Transportation of Meat from Mongolia
Our company, drawing on its experience in international transportation, successfully completed a meat transportation project from Mongolia to Iran. In this project, the meat shipment was loaded in Mongolia and transported in a refrigerated container under constant temperature control, traveling by land through Russia and then to the Astara land border crossing. All stages of the process—including customs coordination, obtaining veterinary and health certificates, ensuring standard-compliant packaging, and monitoring the transportation temperature—were managed by the company’s logistics department.
The main advantages of this route are reduced transportation time and enhanced cargo security compared with maritime transportation. After the shipment crossed the Astara border, customs clearance and final delivery operations were completed without requiring storage at a border cold-storage facility, and the cargo was delivered to the Iranian buyer in perfect condition and within the scheduled timeframe. This project demonstrates our capability to manage the transportation of perishable and temperature-sensitive cargo and highlights the Astara route as a highly suitable option for transporting meat from Mongolia to Iran.
